He is the EU-Asia Expert Panel Member for climate diplomacy and environmental security; Chairman of the US-ASEAN Fellows for Science and Technology; and Trustee of Statweather Institute, the humanitarian arm of Statweather, which has been recognized as the number one Climate Technology and Data Services Company in the World.
With a strong background and experience in environmental science and sustainability, he gained a lot of recognition in the said field. He was an honoree of The Outstanding Filipino (TOFIL) Award for Environment Conservation and Science Diplomacy; a recipient of the National Academy of Science and Technology Outstanding Young Scientist for Environmental Management; a grantee of the Royal Society, The World Academy of Sciences, and the Environmental Defense Fund for climate engineering; and recipient of Asia’s Sustainability Leader Award. He has also been recognized by GWP Water Changemakers; the ASEAN Champions for Biodiversity; the Environmental Hero Award; and nominated for the Elliason Global Leadership Awards, and Harvard’s Roy Family Award for Environmental Partnership.
He has been invited as a Keynote Speaker in more than 100 conferences; has received grants from different agencies; has led more than 100 projects; and has published over 50 articles.

Leading Stakeholder Management <br /> Star Energy Geothermal
Mr. Herry Ginanjar is leading Stakeholder Management at Star Energy Geothermal based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Star Energy Geothermal is Indonesia’s largest geothermal energy producer and a leading clean energy company. Previously, he was also the Stakeholder Engagement Lead at Chevron, a leading producer of energy in Indonesia. Mr. Ginanjar’s expertise includes Risk Management, Strategic Business Planning, Business Processes, Corporate Performance and Improvement, Program & Budget, ABC (Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence), FCPA (Foreign Corruption Practice Act), Compliance & Ethics, Sensitive Transaction, Project Management and Corporate Social Responsibility. He has been working in various positions and fields; but he is particularly passionate about Stakeholder Engagement, and Issue and Risk Management. Currently, he is doing deeper research on Stakeholder Theory and its implementation.
Mr. Ginanjar obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Management and Operations (2014), at the Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. He previously obtained his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (1989) at Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia.

Andre was born and raised in Manila and educated in the US, where he earned 3 degrees (Yale, Fordham, NYU) and lived for 15 years. In 2009 The US Government gave Andre the status of Permanent Resident on the Basis of Exceptional Ability in the National Interest, but his heart remains in the Philippines, where he wants to do his best work and most meaningful impact. He has called Manila home again since 2011, when he moved back with his wife and their 2 dazzling boys.
